I think 79 is a lucky number. I think. Anyway, this pic is for Bon, to say 'good luck!' for starting high school, and I think you're gonna knock 'em dead. They'll love you. And hey, how many other people at your school have ever had their portrait done in anime? ...I hope you like it. If not, just remember you DID ask me to draw you. Although, I have to confess, this happened quite by accident. This pic started as a stick person (I was scribbling during the first talk on QYC), who I had fond hopes of turning into Tory, from my not-quite-so-cool novel that I'm trying to write....
Anyway, after ten seconds of scribble (I sketched a rough face shape) I realised it wasn't going to be Tory, so just finished it off as a random girl. Upon completetion, Bek and Jen both looked over my shoulders and said, 'oh my gosh, you drew Bonnie!' and lo and behold, so I had. It was all completely subconscious. Are you scared yet Bon?
There are a number of mistakes in the drawing. And no, there are no prizes for pointing them out. My personal favourite bit was when I was doing the original pencil sketch, and started drawing a boat (because I just felt like drawing a boat) and suddenly realised that I don't actually know what a yatch looks like. So if the boat looks dodge to your eyes--now you know why!!!
You will also note my (lack of) watercolouring technique, especially on the sky and water. One of these days, maybe I will practice my sense of dimension and proportion, and shading....and also my ability to get a uniform consistency from those dratted watercolours.....
Um, I think that's all I have to say......
Er.....no. I wouldn't have a CLUE how to draw someone actually ON a boat. (Hence the problems I'm having with drawing pics for my pirate novel.....remind me not to write about things I can't draw.....)

The world is divided into two groups: people who love to play with swords, and two half-groups of people sliced in half by the sword-loving people.
Heheheheheheheheheheheh. I'm glad you liked the mini too much to notice that I accidentally drew the legs way too short for the rest of the girl. (That was one of the things that made Jen and Bek go, 'It's Bonnie!') Heheheheheheheheheheheheh.

Yeah, I agree with every above statement. It is awesome! You look like you could have a job illustrating books.
